The UKRI GCRF Living Deltas Hub aims to safeguard delta futures through more resilient communities and sustainable development. The research Hub operates on a model of equitable partnership with delta-dwellers and the research community working together to develop new knowledge and policies. The Hub is part of UK Research and Innovation’s (UKRI) pioneering and ambitious approach to tackle some of the world’s most pressing challenges through its Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF).
The Hub is comprised of 19 research institutions representing seven nations; in Vietnam over the next four years our Vietnamese partners will be contributing to and providing research leadership in an international, multidisciplinary team of over 120 academics working on an equal basis across the natural sciences, social science and the arts and humanities to work towards more sustainable and resilient delta futures.
